Mrs. Anne Fowles
Head of School IGBIS

Message from the Head of School

I would like to wish you a warm welcome to our website and to our school which is paving the way in international education and living its mission:

To provide an inclusive learning community, embracing diversity by offering a challenging IB education which empowers its members to be caring, global citizens.

Located in a stunning new school building at Sierramas and Valencia, IGBIS is Kuala Lumpur’s newest IB World School and as such, is totally committed to IB philosophy. Our team of internationally experienced IB educators currently deliver an integrated 21st century education, to students from Early Years 1 (3 years old) to Grade 12.

The school has an established digital platform, including the latest laptop and touch-enabled devices, and comprehensively incorporates information technology to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

As we wish to develop a community of learners for our students and their families, our facilities have been designed to provide easy access for parents to use without disrupting the operation of the school. We will be providing extensive programmes for parents and the broader community in sports, the arts, and continuing education. Likewise, the curriculum, co-curriculum and after-school programmes for students provide an array of sports, visual and performing arts, languages, outdoor education and community service.

Please read through the remainder of our website to find out more about our outstanding school and the unique educational opportunity on offer to our students.

Better still, come and see us!

Mrs Anne Fowles
Head of School
