Beliefs

This unit is taught in conjunction with Visual Arts. You will learn how information is communicated in different ways to persuade, inform or even manipulate the audience. You will learn about the various styles used and eventually produce one of these yourself as an assessment. The image below is taken from the Theory of Knowledge course, part of the Diploma Programme. There are eight different ways in which you learn or acquire new knowledge.

The unit will require students to recognise and understand where their beliefs come from. These could range from: family, culture, religion, nationality, history and others.

What do you learn from the following video? Watch it from 03.30 to 07.44.
