Ms. Herring joined the IGBIS community in 2024. Before moving to Malaysia, she taught students aged 2 to 22 in a variety of roles in English and French in the USA, France, and China. As a multilingual educator advocating for cultural responsiveness and social-emotional learning, she most enjoys working with (and learning from) elementary-aged English language learners. Ms. Herring loves language learning, drama, reading, singing, dance, yoga, travel, and trying new foods.
