Ms. Herring has over 12 years of experience in education, teaching students aged 2 to 22 in a variety of roles in English and French in the USA, France, and China. As a multilingual educator advocating for cultural responsiveness and social-emotional learning, she most enjoys working with (and learning from) elementary-aged English language learners. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Herring loves language learning, drama, reading, singing, dance, yoga, travel, and trying new foods. She is so excited to join the IGBIS community and explore Malaysia.
