Mr Peter has a deep love for music—whether he's teaching it, playing it, listening to it, or creating it. Since beginning his teaching journey in 2001, he has worked in Japan, Spain, the UK, Turkey, Romania, and Oman. A hands-on educator, Mr Peter believes strongly in learning through doing. Walk past his music room on any given day and you will hear a vibrant mix of inquiry, discipline, joy, beauty, silence, chaos, and near perfection—all underscored by high expectations, good humour, kindness, and passion.
He believes that music has the power to help all people better understand themselves and each other. Mr Peter is thrilled to be in Malaysia with his wife, daughter, and two cats. Outside the classroom, he enjoys cycling, music (of course), languages, and staying fit.
