Kennedy has been teaching in IB World Schools for over 22 years. He started his IB journey in his home country, Kenya then moved to Ethiopia, China, India, Sudan and went back to China in 2023, where he has spent the last two years . He is an IB Design Technology examiner, workshop leader and moderator. He is also a workshop leader for IBDP core components: TOK and EE. Finally, within IB circles, Kennedy is a site verification team member, (SVTM). Kennedy has a Master of Arts (International Education) degree from Bath University, (UK), PGCE from University of Southern Queensland, Australia, IB Educator Certificate, (IBEC) in Teaching and Learning, Post Graduate Honours degree from University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Science, (BSc) degree from university of Nairobi. He joins IGBIS with his wife and Son, who will be in Year 11, (IB DP 1).
