Congratulations, Travis Lim! Our talented Grade 6 student secured two golds (Under 12, Under 14) and a bronze medal (Under 16/Cadet) at the 1st Leo Fencing Challenge in Bangkok, Thailand from October 25-27. Travis, you’ve made the IGBIS community incredibly proud!

Deepavali Assembly 2024

On October 30, our entire school celebrated Deepavali with joyful performances, vibrant costumes, and heartfelt cultural appreciation. This assembly was a true reflection of our school’s diversity, as students and teachers came together to bring Diwali’s light and joy into our community.

Pursuit: A DP Collaborative Project

In a powerful performance on October 25, four DP students took the stage with Pursuit—an ensemble project exploring modern-day pressures, from superficial beauty, and the toxic lure of harmful relationships, to materialism and the empty promises of wealth and status. Their message? True happiness goes beyond superficial pursuits and lies beyond these illusions. Pursuit exemplifies how IGBIS empowers students to address critical issues through creative storytelling.

Elementary School Aquathlon

Our young athletes tackled the annual ES House Aquathlon on October 29! Grade 3 and 4 students powered through one lap around the carpark, while the Grade 5s took on two laps before diving into the swimming competitions. Sharks swam 4 pool lengths while Dolphins and Minnows completed 2, with cheering support from parents and teachers as they raced, pushed limits, and demonstrated fantastic perseverance.

We’re so proud of our young athletes, and a huge thank you to everyone who supported this thrilling event!

The Grunch Is Almost Here!

Get ready for a theatrical treat with ‘The Grunch’ this November!

This charming musical tells the story of a school drama group who have lost their drama teacher and must navigate obstacles to put on their show. Can they work together to create a performance that captivates the audience despite a number of setbacks?

With wit, heart, and determination, these young performers will make you laugh, cheer, and maybe shed a tear. Catch it live at the IGBIS Theatre on November 20 and 21!

SS Musical - Emotional Baggage

Mark your calendar for Emotional Baggage, an experimental secondary school play that tells a story through movement, masks, and original soundscapes—no words required!

Presented by our students from Grades 9-12, Emotional Baggage features powerful non-verbal storytelling through expressive masks, captivating movement, puppetry, digital imaging, and an original soundscape. This innovative piece explores the emotional journeys of seven strangers confronting their hidden “baggage”, revealing universal stories of self-discovery and connection.

Join us for this thought-provoking experience on December 3 (exclusive to secondary school) and December 4 (whole school community).

Christmas Bazaar 2024

Join us for a day of festive cheer at the IGBIS Christmas Bazaar!

Date: 13 December 2024
Time: 9am - 5pm
Location: IGBIS L7 Sports Hall

Explore 35+ festive stalls, enjoy holiday treats, and try out the bouncy castle! This year, the Bazaar will be open throughout the day, so enjoy our Bazaar right after our Christmas Assembly!

Bring the whole family (with your ID or car sticker) and celebrate the season with food, fun, and community spirit. We look forward to making memories with you!

IGBIS Winter CAMP Registration is OPEN!

Season 1 ASA's will finish on November 15th.
However, if you are signed up for external ASA's on Fridays ONLY have a make-up session on Friday 22nd due to disruption of 3WC.
Season 2 ASA sign-up goes live on Monday, Nov 11th and closes on Friday, November 15th. Sign-up is done via the SchoolsBuddy platform HERE.
