Hosted by the club’s new owners, the Freidkin Group, the event showcased the deepening ties between the Toffees and the educational institution, emphasising their shared vision for youth development and community engagement.
Amid the electric match-day atmosphere, Angela Smith, a passionate advocate for the partnership, was invited as a guest of honour. In a heartfelt moment, Smith was presented with a personalised Everton shirt bearing her name, symbolising her dedication to bridging sports and education. Despite the chilly weather, Smith beamed with pride, calling the gesture “a testament to the power of teamwork on and off the pitch.”
