Who We're Looking For

  • Our scholarships are awarded to students entering Grades 6 onwards for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP).
  • We seek students who excel academically and have a passion for contributing to their school and community.

How to Apply for 2025/26 Scholarships

We aim to keep the application process clear and straightforward. Here’s how you can get started:

Complete the Scholarship Application Form. A signed copy of the IGBIS Scholarship 2025 Terms and Conditions must be uploaded upon application.

Submit Academic Records – Please include the most current 2 academic year school reports (in English).

Write a Personal Statement (not more than 500 words) – Share your story! Tell us: - What inspires you to apply for a scholarship at IGBIS? - How do you see yourself contributing to our school community? - Highlight any experience in areas such as Innovation, Inclusion, Leadership, or other aspects important to IGBIS.

References – Submit two recommendations from educators or mentors who can speak to your academic abilities and character.

  • Shortlisted Candidates Will Be Invited For An Assessment & Interview Between 20th January and 24th January 2025.

Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the Terms and Conditions for scholarships awarded by IGB International School (IGBIS). By accepting a scholarship from IGBIS, it is understood that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Please note that these conditions are in addition to the school’s general enrolment and admission policies.

1Applications
All scholarship applications must be submitted in full by January 6, 2025, by 11:59 PM. Late and incomplete applications will not be accepted. A complete application must include the online scholarship application form and all required documents as specified in the application checklist. Acceptance of applications is at the sole discretion of the school. IGBIS reserves the right to reject applications without providing specific reasons.
2Scholarship Eligibility & Restrictions
The IGBIS Scholarship Programme is available to both new and existing students enrolling in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), or International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) for Grades 6 to 11. Shortlisted applicants would be invited to attend an assessment and interview prior to finalising the scholarship offer. • Scholarships are merit-based and may have to take financial need into consideration. • Each student may be awarded only one type of scholarship per academic year. • Scholarships are valid until the end of enrolment (terms and conditions apply), contingent upon the recipient maintaining excellent academic performance and active participation in school life. • Students already enrolled at IGBIS are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
3Scholarship Offer
Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer by the end of February 2025, detailing the scholarship benefits. Scholarship recipients will be eligible for a discount applicable exclusively to enrollment and tuition fees only. If a scholarship offer is declined, it is important to notify IGBIS in writing as soon as possible.
4Validity of Offer
The scholarship offer is subject to the following conditions: The full payment of any applicable fees, as outlined in the Letter of Offer and invoice, must be made by the date specified. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the offer being void. Declining the offer will automatically render the scholarship and placement at IGBIS invalid.
5Maintaining the Scholarship
To retain the scholarship, students must: • Remain fully enrolled in their approved year group. • Comply with all school policies, including academic, behavioural, and attendance standards. Meet the conditions outlined in their Letter of Offer. Failure to meet any of these requirements may lead to the termination of the scholarship.
6Termination of Scholarship
The scholarship may be revoked if the student: Fails to uphold satisfactory academic performance; Violates school policies or is suspended/expelled from the school Provides false, misleading, or incomplete information in their scholarship application or after receiving an offer. In cases of scholarship termination, IGBIS reserves the right to request repayment of part or all of the scholarship amount.

Publicity & Promotion

By accepting a scholarship, recipients automatically grant permission for their name, photograph, and details to be included in IGBIS promotional materials, which may encompass the school’s website, social media platforms, and print media.

Photos or videos taken during school events, in which scholarship recipients are present, may also be used for promotional purposes by IGBIS.

Acknowledgement

By accepting the scholarship, students and their families acknowledge their understanding and agreement with the above terms and conditions. Scholarship recipients agree to uphold the standards expected by IGBIS and comply with all school policies and regulations.
